The Health Informatics Society of Australia (HISA) is pleased to invite you to participate in HIC 2013, Australia's Health Informatics
Conference, to be held from 15 July - 18 July 2013 at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
With the primary theme of Digital Health Service Delivery - The Future is Now! HIC 2013 will focus on consumers, practitioners and researchers.

As Australia’s largest e-health and
health informatics conference, the HIC program will include around 150
presentations over 4 days. HIC is renowned for the quality and relevancy of its
program and we encourage you to make sure your work, your ideas, your research,
your experience, your case study is part of HIC and contributes to the national
dialogue.
On Monday 15th July HIC will host 4
satellite conferences: Nursing Informatics Australia, Indigenous Health Informatics,
Personalised Medicine; and a professional development day for health
informatics certification.
The next three days of the main
conference will be themed around digital health service delivery and the impact
of e-health on patient journeys:
Tuesday 16th July – Designing,
building and working within digital healthcare
Wednesday 17th July –
Oncology patient journey, incorporating the aged care informatics stream
Thursday 18th July – Mental
health patient journey, incorporating telehealth
The program will include keynote
speakers, panels, workshops, presentations from academia, presentations from
industry, presentations from State, Jurisdictional and Federal government and presentations
from consumers. Delegates will be directly participating in the content
presented and discussions had through their integration in debates and
workshops.
