The Theme
The theme of the 2012 Telehealth Conference is ‘The Fabric of a Sustainable Health System’. Telehealth offers much promise in terms of improving sustainability of our healthcare system. The promise of telehealth is to increase access, make better use of resources, care for people in their homes, improve outcomes and reduce costs across the entire health system. To achieve this we need to move from islands of telehealth activity to broad adoption in a sustainable fashion, system wide. This will require the health system, industry, consumers, academia and governments all pulling in the same direction.
This national forum will focus on clinical workflow, future requirements of specific services, sustainability and enabling telehealth service exchange across acute, primary and allied health services.

- Articulate the strategic and operational attributes of telehealth
- Demonstrate operational key success protocols and practices
