When human resources executives at Boca Raton Regional Hospital
look at job openings on their floors, they see a snapshot of in-demand health care careers.
Their shortlist of jobs includes nurses, medical technologists, clinical
case workers and those trained in transforming the health care
experience from analog to digital, like health information management
coders for medical records.
"Over the past few years, there’s been a shortage of those, particularly
certified coders and people with strong informatics,” said Mindy Raymond, VP of human resources with the hospital.
