Premier Healthcare Alliance Experts to Discuss Improving Performance in HIT, Labor and UDIs

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Jan 10, 2012 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Healthcare experts from the Premier healthcare alliance will address the importance of integrating healthcare information technology (HIT), connecting labor with quality and adopting effective unique device identifiers this month.

Keith J. Figlioli, Premier senior vice president of Healthcare Informatics, will speak at the 2012 Accountable Care and Health IT Strategies Summit in Miami on January 19. He will discuss Premier's work with IBM in expanding its technology platform to better integrate healthcare data across the entire continuum of care, and support performance improvement and measurement for new care delivery models.
