Integrated care
There is strong interest to learn, more broadly, the anticipated value and benefits of integrated care, the building blocks for success, and the roles of the health agencies involved to achieve service integration across the sector.
This event brings together presenters from a policy, architecture and implementation perspective in regards to integrated care and demonstrator projects.

NSW Health Integrated Care program
This presentation will set the scene and outline the key aspects of the program including; the anticipated value and benefits of this strategic initiative, the building blocks for success, and the roles of the Local Health Districts, Medicare Locals (Primary Health Networks) and the Agency for Clinical Innovation to achieve service integration across the sector for improved care delivery and patient experience.

Paul is an experienced project director having applied his skills in health ICT and construction projects, organisational restructuring and passports and border security. Besides Australia, Paul has worked throughout South East Asia, the Middle East and the USA.

Dr Joanne Curry Senior Lecturer Health Informatics, University of Western Sydney
Joanne is a specialist in the design of efficient and effective deployment of innovative smart technology to improve the delivery of healthcare services. Completion of her PhD in Health Informatics led to the invention of the world’s first and only healthcare specific patient journey modelling tool. Currently being patented, these tools help healthcare providers to visualise how services are presently delivered and what improvements and ICT services are required to enhance patient safety, satisfaction and outcomes.
