Join us at Australia's first fully integrated digital hospital - speakers, event and tour

The state-of-the-art HIMSS 6 rated ‘hospital of the future’ has been supported by the Australian Government’s Health and Hospitals Fund, which provided $47 million towards the estimated $96 million construction and e-health costs.

St Stephen’s Hervey Bay digital hospital opened in October 2014 and aims to show patients and clinicians how technology can transform the healthcare experience.

UnitingCare Health has enabled best practice healthcare and patient care outcomes by implementing the latest proven e-health technologies and advanced models of patient care at St Stephen’s Hervey Bay.

The new digital hospital features:

  • Automatic feeds which transfer key elements of patient data directly from monitoring systems to the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Real time mobile clinical alerts on allergies, medications, and abnormal vitals and results
  • Patient medication barcode scanners
  • Local and remote access to the patient chart via mobile computers on wheels and tablets
  • Electronic meal ordering and a patient entertainment system

  • HISA is offering you the chance to visit this state of the art hospital.

    Registration
As the event has sold out, registration is now closed. Onsite registrations won't be available either.
