Gold Coast University Hospital site visit
GCUH leads the technology drive into the health industry, providing the latest ICT infrastructure on a multi-tenant network allowing the GCHHS to deliver increased health services to the district. Already the GCUH ICT network hosts public private partnerships, tenants and partners using a MPLS network, utilising Cisco firewalls and Cisco ISE for secured LAN/WLAN access. The converged network provides services including telephony, messaging, clinical applications and biomedical devices. The WLAN providing connectivity for 1500 wireless handsets using Real Time Location Services (RTLS) for mobile duress and messaging.
