Profile
Natalie Collard is no stranger to roles of high impact and national importance. Currently, the CEO of Australian Dairy Farmers Ltd, she has introduced a new, innovative structure and increased funding by 50 per cent. Moved by the plight of farmers during the 2000 drought, Natalie sought out a career in agriculture, becoming Manager for Rural Affairs for the National Farmers’ Federation.
Natalie’s non-agricultural highlights include stints in Minister’s offices, managing a post-September 11 arms control meeting of 32 countries in France, and addressing the United Nations in Geneva on Biological Weapons. She has managed two $300 million corporate contracts and, as Defence’s lead negotiator on security treaties, delivered Australia’s first treaty with an organisation, NATO.
In 2013 Natalie was awarded Victorian Telstra Business Woman of the Year – Government and Community.
