CSC, a global Fortune 200 IT Services firm, in collaboration with market research institute TNS Sofres, has carried out extensive CIO surveys annually, across all industries, since 2008.

During this session, CSC Chief Technology Officer for ANZ and AMEA, Bob Hayward will share insights, trends and key findings based on the latest global survey for 2013.

Following the session attendees will be able to:

  • Describe how Intermountain Healthcare approach innovation in healthcare and balance accessibility with security through insights from an interview with Marc Probst, Intermountain Healthcare CIO;
  • Discover how CIOs are embracing digital transformation in an environment experiencing significant IT developments; and
  • Examine the evolution of the IT Department’s contribution to business from ‘keeping the lights on’ to being a leader in the entire transformation of business models to reflect the digital age

Bob Hayward

Bob is the CTO for CSC ANZ and AMEA (Africa, Middle East and Asia). In this role, Bob is responsible for the overall direction of CSC’s technology offerings, product strategies and innovation programmes in these two regions.

Prior to joining CSC, Bob was a Director of IT Services for KPMG. Previously, he was the first employee and APAC regional manager for both Gartner and Candle Corporation, launched Tivoli Systems across APAC and has been the co-founder of a software company in Asia and technology incubator in Australia.

While SVP for Asia/Pacific for Gartner, a role Bob held from 1994-2006, Bob was also a Gartner Research Fellow in the area of emerging technologies and their impact on enterprises.
