eHealth - Route 66 of Primary Care

Our eHealth journey is underway. We've heard about the benefits and how it will change the delivery of primary health care. The press has covered the privacy concerns, the costs and the errors. Stephen will present the eHealth journey from an eHealth support hub and a Medicare Local as related to Perth. He will also present information regarding the National Prescribing and Dispensing Repository, the Child Electronic Health Recrd and advanced directives in the national eHealth record.

Stephen has firsthand experience working in our hospital system having worked at RPH in the ICU and CCU. Stephen also holds a BSc Health Science. Stephen has twenty five years of experience working on Health IT projects and he has worked in Australia, England, Singapore and the USA.
