HISA Victoria gets mobile!
Both consumers and clinicians are increasingly using
mobile devices to gather information, view and update patient records within a
healthcare setting. While these devices are easier to transport than the
traditional computers on wheels, they also present numerous networking and
security management challenges. With all the changes that go along a mobile
device rollout and BYODs (bring your own devices) the policies, security and
technical considerations are still in their early stages.
This event will look at the use of mobile devices in
healthcare and the challenges and successes managing BYODs within a large
organisation.
