Health Informatics Society of Australia (QLD Branch) welcomes you to our educational event:
The PCEHR: How is it going and what you need to know
With all the news about Personally Controlled Electronic Health Records (PCEHR), HISA Queensland brings you an information session on this topic. There will be representatives from the public and private hospitals, NEHTA and primary healthcare.
This is your chance to hear about:
- What is happening in wave one and two PCEHR sites?
- What impact will this have on healthcare in Queensland and will it assist in connecting healthcare?
- What are the next stages for development of the PCEHR?
- How do the wave sites interact with the national federal PCEHR?
- How does the PCEHR utilise health identifiers (HI) & secure message delivery (SMD)?
- What will the impact of SNOMED and the Australian Medicines Terminology (AMT) be on current systems?
- How are security and privacy being handled?
