The Impact of Changes to the My Health Record
Hosted by the AIDH ACT Branch Committee
This event will spotlight Australia’s new Modernising
My Health Record (Sharing by Default) legislation, featuring insights from
the key architects behind the reform. Panellists Kate Deere, Director of
Digital Health Legislation and Policy at the Department of Health and Aged
Care; Tracy Cook, My Health Record Lead at the Department of Health and Aged
Care; and Beelah Bleakley, Chief Nurse and Midwifery Information Officer at ACT
Health Directorate, will unpack the shift towards default health information
sharing, what the legislation entails, and the practical implications for
clinicians and patient care.
Facilitated by Olivia Berry, Lead
Consultant of Federal Government Advisory at Chamonix IT, and Steve Miller,
Director – National Digital Health Infrastructure Policy at the Department of
Health and Aged Care, this session offers a unique opportunity to explore the
future of connected healthcare and the broader impact of this landmark digital
health reform.
Proudly supported by EY and sponsored by Peacock Bros.
