Speaker Profile:
Dr Jean Evans professional career has covered more than 20 years in Health including public health care providers, consulting and private software suppliers in Australia and overseas. Following a Bachelor, post graduate and Masters degrees in Computer Science, her more recent doctorate was in Health Services Management focusing its dissertation on the patient journey, and the development of a web-based information model for patients with the chronic disease Cystic Fibrosis.
Jean has been the CIO of South Eastern Sydney & Illawarra Area Health Service (now SESLHD and ISLHD) for more than 5 years, managing the information services of 20 hospitals, and some 20,000+ employees.
