Clinical applications across the patient journey
A WA state branch event
The presentation will focus on the real-world clinical application of technology to facilitate better care across the patient journey. Our two speakers work across very different parts of the patient journey and will cover:
- How clinicians negotiate the challenge of delivering the same level of care in hospitals with differing levels of digitisation
- Clinical applications which add the most value to the patient journey and what changes are needed to further enhance it
- Which existing systems have the most impact on workflow and patient care
- How changes in clinical systems will impact care delivery over the next 5-10 years
Ronda Clarke is a Nyikina woman born and raised in Derby who now works for the Aboriginal Health Council of WA (AHCWA). As the AHCWA Sector Engagement Officer, Ronda attends all seven Aboriginal Health Planning Forums across WA. She
is also the MAPPA Project Manager, leading the development and implementation of the Mappa platform which maps Health Services across WA to enable Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people to have access to the ‘right care, in the right place, at the
right time’.
Sam Lee is a Surgical Registrar who has worked at RPH, FS and PCH. Sam’s experience utilising existing systems as a Surgical Registrar will give a clinical perspective of the systems and their impact on workflow.
Come, learn and be entertained as we hear from our panel of experts.
