Does the post-COVID era present a clean slate for value-based heathcare?

Hosted by the AIDH Victorian Branch and sponsored by HPA Australia, this event takes a fresh look at value based health care (VBHC). This is part one of a two-part event series with the second part being an open discussion at #Zoombar on Thursday, 27 August 2020.

The renewed focus on virtual care in response to the COVID-19 pandemic has raised new questions such as:

• Are we delivering value through virtual care and if so, for whom?
• Do we have the right metrics for measuring this value?
• Are new tools required to demonstrate value in a virtual care delivery model?
• How can funding for virtual care be tied to value based outcomes?

Our panel of speakers will provide their views and aim to identify actions healthcare providers can take to demonstrate value-based outcomes from redesigned [virtual] healthcare delivery.
