Clinical leadership in Health Informatics

HISA welcomes the SA Health Office of the Chief Medical Information Officer (OCMIO) to our February branch event on leadership in health informatics.

The Office of the CMIO has recently been established by SA Health to optimise the use of health information systems, the data they collect and the analysis of that data for better healthcare outcomes.The OCMIO mission statement is "Improving health outcomes for the patients we serve through the use of digital technology in collaboration with local health networks and the wider community".
