WA Minister for Health's nominee,
Sustainable Health Review
|
Adjunct Professor Warren Harding was the WA Minister for Health's nominee on the WA Sustainable Health Review ( SHR) which has been an 18-month review of the next $100Bn of State health costs in primary care, acute hospital and care in the community. He has a deep interest in digital health including VR/ AR, telehealth, predictive analytics, wearable and assistive technology. He has been a champion of innovators in WA having had 30 years of government and private sector experience in R&D, innovation commercialisation for both start ups and large global corporates.
He has an extensive international management consulting career as Managing Partner for over 25 years including Accenture, PwC and Deloitte as an Asia Pacific leader. He is a former Senior Adviser to McKinsey and advises a select group of NASDEQ and ASX listed technology firms. He has a Bachelor of Science with First Class Hons; a Grad Diploma in Media; was a British Council Scholar at London School of Economics and former Chair of the School of Information Systems at Curtin University.
He is a regular speaker the impact on jobs, work and STEM under Industry 4.0, is a change agent and co-founder of the new WA Research Institute into the Future of Work (FOWI). He was a Panellist on the Future of Work and Chaired the session on Real World Field Proven Sustainability at the recent Health Informatics Society of Australia HITWA Conference and spoke at the recent Australian Telehealth Conference. He is also a member of the working group for the World Economic Forum study into the Future of Work in Australia and is currently leading a research program on Talent barriers to SME growth in WA for the FOWI.
His address will draw on the key findings of the SHR and highlight 'The Need for Reform, the Need for Change'
