Topic: Digital solutions to transition of care
Racha graduated from the School of Pharmacy at the University of Sydney in 2014. She worked as a clinical Pharmacist between 2015 and 2018 at Concord Geriatric Hospital. At the end of 2017 she took up a role in the South Eastern Sydney Local Health district that involved the optimisation of reporting from eMeds. During which she developed a framework for the district and presented her work at the Cerner Regional User conference (RUG) in 2018. This sparked her interest in eMeds optimisation, and she began her PhD in Digital Solutions to transitions of care in 2018, focusing on the evaluation of eMeds in specialised settings at Concord Hospital. Her focus being the user experience, usability and medication safety. She has presented her research at the RUG in 2019, and has been accepted to present at the MedInfo conference in France in August 2019.
