Beyond My Health Record - where to from here?
This event will look at the national digital health landscape following on from the expansion of the My Health Record to over 90% of the Australian population. We will hear from the Australian Digital Health Agency, Queensland Health and primary care about the impact of the national rollout, and look forward to other major initiatives currently underway, including the secure messaging program and the national consultation around interoperability.

Dr John Aloizos AM MBBS FRACGP FAICD 
John is an advocate for patient safety, quality improvement and equity of access in healthcare.
He has been an active general practitioner at Upper Mt Gravatt, Brisbane since 1977. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Current roles:
• Australian Digital Health Agency - Senior Clinical Reference Lead;
• Remedy Healthcare Clinical Advisory Group – Member;
• NPS MedicineWise - Honorary Member;
• HeathEngine Advisory Group member
On Australia Day 2003, John was honoured as a Member in the General Division of the Order of Australia by the Australian Government for services to medicine, particularly medical administration, and the Australian Divisions of General Practice.

Travis Hodgson GM Strategic Programs and Workplan Delivery, Australian Digital Health Agency 
Travis Hodgson leads the Strategic Programs and Workplan Delivery Branch’s work to increase My Health Record clinical connections and patient data uploads, and the development of a nationally viable secure messaging solution that offers online and secure exchange of clinical information in real time.
Travis is also leading the development of the Agency’s Enhanced Models of Care Program. The program includes the National Children’s Digital Health Collaborative, national goals of care collaborative, specialist connections and use, out of hospital care, and communities of excellence initiatives.
Travis’ experience in Queensland, the Northern Territory and Commonwealth governments, across a range of state-wide and national portfolios has enabled him to develop a unique leadership style shaped by the opportunity to perform a number of vastly diverse roles spanning the full healthcare continuum.
His experience incorporates hospital operations management, whole of system strategy, policy and engagement, corporate governance, program management, fiscal strategy and benefits evaluation, intergovernmental relations (including multi-government collaboration on major health reform initiatives) as well as success in leading performance, planning and accountability functions at both the commissioning and delivery level.
Travis also has extensive portfolio leadership experience with a successful track record in obtaining major government investment and leading significant digital health transformation programs from initiation to closure and evaluation.

Melissa McKnight Project Director, My Health Record Program, eHealth Queensland 
Melissa joined Queensland Health in 2008 and has predominantly been working with the national digital health agenda since this time. Since 2017 Melissa has been the Project Director, My Health Record Program with oversight of Queensland Health’s My Health Record Program; predominantly managing Queensland Health’s strategic My Health Record direction and the change management activities.
