The Health Informatics Society of Australia (HISA) is pleased to invite you to respond to our Call for Submissions for HIC 2012, Australia's Health Informatics Conference, to be held from 30 July - 2 August 2012 at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre.
"Make sure your research, your project, your innovation, your experience, your learnings are a part of the biggest health informatics and e-health event on the 2012 calendar"
Scientific submissions require a full written paper following the guidelines provided on the HIC 2012 website. Scientific Papers are especially invited which address major research areas of contemporary interest aligned with Clinical Informatics, Consumer Health Informatics, Public Health Informatics, and Research Health Informatics. Selected Scientific submissions will be published as a monograph in the prestigious IOS Press series on 'Studies in Health Technology and Informatics' and all abstracts will appear in the HIC 2012 Proceedings.
Industry submissions and workshop submissions require a 600 word abstract describing what you would like to speak on. Presenting at HIC is a fantastic way to partner with healthcare facilities, clinicians, vendors and others to present a compelling case for the value of 'on the shop floor' implementations and issues and to get feedback from your peers. Guidelines are available on the HIC 2012 website.
All submissions will be double-blind peer reviewed to ensure that only the best content ends up on the HIC program.
HIC will be bringing together a range of international and national experts and leaders to share, inspire and evolve our e-health and health informatics community. We look forward to you being part of the official proceedings and sharing your work, ideas and innovations to contribute to this evolution.
